About

Hi, I'm Dorte.

I am Dorte Jensen a ‘Body Control’ trained Pilates teacher, with my own specialist studio located in Bilton, Rugby.

My introduction to Pilates occurred in 2001 and though I was engaged in a completely different career at that time, I recall really enjoying the sense of increased connection and awareness of my body and the range of movement I began to develop as a result of practice.

During 2010 I made a decision to change my career direction having worked for 15 years with United Airlines, & I began my Pilates teacher training programme with the highly acclaimed ‘Body Control’ team in London.

Some years later and I have now qualified in ‘Pilates’ teaching, with additional qualifications in teaching specialist Reformer, Chair and Cadillac devices.

I have in excess of ten years of teaching experience & have dedicated my time to really learning about the complete Pilates method, teaching, coaching and supporting others on the fundamental workings of their bodies, movement and strengthening routines.

Teaching 1:1 clients from my exclusive, private home studio we work on elements such as rehabilitation, recovery, strength & conditioning. Most importantly we work on helping you to achieve your goals, whether that is simply being able to walk in comfort, play golf with an improved swing or engage in your active hobbies with a greater zest.

Through my 1:1 Pilates sessions I will work closely with you, to understand your aims and objectives and help you to achieve these goals.

I will design tailored sessions that focus upon your needs.

Each will be different as we develop your core strength, movement & flexibility.
